First edition ,first impression (with black coated endpapers rather than the later issue white endpapers). This is the first publication in facsimilie of Carroll's original version of Alice that would become 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. Although carroll's own illustrations are rather naive in execution their innovative placement and his typographic originality are still impressive. A nicer than usual copy.
