The Hunting of The Snark by Lewis Carroll, published by Macmillan and Co, London 1876 First Edition. Original pictorial tan boards, black coated end papers, all edges gilt. Spine very slightly rolled, covers only a trifle faded, frontispiece and title page a little browned but otherwise a very nice copy indeed of a fragile book that is extremely prone to fraying and damage. One of the best copies we've had.
